Proposal Revamp

Consistency is key. When I revamped the project proposals for Hallberg Engineering, I wanted to keep the look HEI's clients associated with the company's branding and keep pertinent information while introducing a new, more aesthetically pleasing proposal.

One

On the original proposal template, the margins on each document were at +4" on the left, but with the text indented -1.38" to make up for the wide margins. This made consistent formatting and creating a template near impossible.

Two

I wanted to start from scratch to rebuild formatting, but stick with a similar look to what our clients know, as we had been using this look for years. Here is before & after of the title page.

Three

I think a misconception that people have is that color ≠ professional. In my quest for consistent branding, I decided to tie the unique main green color in the leaf on Hallberg Engineering's logo into subtle parts of our proposals while keeping a professional appearance.

Four

The result was a proposal consistent with what Hallberg Engineering's clients are used to, with a fun and clean new look, while also creating ease of use for internal staff during proposal creation.
